We begin with early formulas brewed from oak galls and black walnuts—full of tannins and tension—and trace a line to Scot Williams’ 1995 experiment: coffee, soda, and a spark that ignited the DIY film revival. Then came Caffenol-C, and the flood of internet recipes. But we’re not stopping there!
