This immersive experience balances technical precision with ecological mindfulness, offering tools to rethink photography harmoniously with nature.

DEEP INTO CAFFENOL

April 18th and 25th - 6pm UK

This workshop is a hands-on drift through the dark, fragrant history of eco-friendly film developers. We begin with early formulas brewed from oak galls and black walnuts, full of tannins and tension, and trace a line to Scot Williams’ 1995 experiment: coffee, soda, and a spark that ignited the DIY film revival. Then came Caffenol-C, and the flood of internet recipes. But we’re not stopping there! Two live sessions (each approx. 2 hours), plus shared notes and check-ins during the week to review your progress, troubleshoot doubts, and keep the developer bubbling.

Biodegradable Film Lab

May 23rd and 30th - 6PM UK

Biodegradable Film Lab is a hands-on dive into ecological image-making, crafting solutions with low, or none, carbon content to rethink how photographs are formed, processed, and returned to the environment.
