Photography is built on control, extraction, and obedience.
This workshop is about breaking that, and moving beyond sustainability as a limit. We will work with iron, plants, and time, no fresh chemistry, no optimization, no guarantees. Developers will exhaust, regenerate, and return. Light will no longer command the image; it will be allowed to emerge over the days, even in its absence. This is a slow process, closer to geological time than the programmed time of industry, where gesture begins to displace control and chemistry is no longer forced, but accompanied.
Join if you’re ready to unlearn the process and let materials lead.
