What is sustainable photography, when the image is still bound to extraction, obedience, and fixation?

This workshop does not begin by improving materials, but by staying with them, long enough to see them weaken, shift, and return. From eco-praxis as act to an eco-somatic method, agitation becomes a gesture of rebellion, and the process unfolds without command.

Iron replaces silver not as a solution, but as a different temperament. A developer that exhausts and regenerates. A chemistry that does not fully obey. With plants, light, and time, materials are not stabilized, they are accompanied.

We will work with processes that do not depend on light as command signal, with iron and copper emulsions that drift rather than fix, and with images that are not captured but allowed to emerge.

This is not sustainable photography.

It is what remains when the program can no longer command.
